The posting workflow checklist.

Six things worth checking before you decide your team's Marketplace posting is under control.

Most dealerships do not have a posting problem because nobody is trying. The problem is that someone has to remember what needs posting, what they already finished, and what the rest of the team has done. That is usually when the process breaks down. This is the checklist we would use at any dealership, LotSync customer or not.

  1. 01

Can you see what's posted without asking the team?

If the answer is a group chat or a manager's memory, a vehicle can sit unposted for a week before anyone notices.

  2. 02

Can each person see what they still need to post?

When everyone's progress is mixed together, salespeople have to ask around before they know what is left in their own workload.

  3. 03

Does every listing include the same required disclosures?

Required compliance and financing language should stay consistent, regardless of which salesperson posts the vehicle. See the Alberta all-in pricing guide.

  4. 04

What happens when a vehicle sells?

A sold vehicle still showing as available wastes buyer messages and looks bad. There should be a clear point where it gets flagged for removal.

  5. 05

Do skipped vehicles have a reason attached?

"We didn't get to it" isn't the same as "photos weren't ready." A recorded reason is what turns a gap into something a manager can act on.

  6. 06

Does the manager get a summary, or do they have to go looking for one?

Posting activity that only lives in each salesperson's head is not reporting. A summary that arrives on its own lets the manager act before the backlog becomes a problem.

See where your team stands.

Most dealerships answer "no" to two or three of the questions above. LotSync builds the queue, keeps required disclosures consistent, and reports the work automatically. Tell us about your dealership and we will walk through it.
